Restore Independence is a division that specializes in modifying homes for seniors and people with special needs. Most of our projects are handicap ramps, wider doorways, grab bars and roll in showers. However, we also install new handrails on stairs and along hallways, removing vanities and install pedestal or wall mounted sinks…really anything that helps a person have more freedom and safety in their home. We will work with your doctors or therapists for any recommendations they have for your specific needs.
We offer a detailed assessment of your home. The main areas we review are your daily activities for safety and ease. For example, we will review daily living activities like laundry, mail retrieval, meal preparation, bathing, telephone usage, trash disposal, laundry, pet care, and bathing. We look at all these areas with consideration of visibility, mobility and hearing limitations.
